I’ve been interested in having my own track car for a while and after a lot of web researching, decided to buy a BMW E36. They are recommended as a track car and ideally was looking for a 328i. These are now picking up in price and I was looking for something cheaper. Enter the 323i in coupe form. It’s still a straight 6 but with lower engine capacity and horsepower. The engine and gearbox seem to be OK but it still needs a lot of work. The plan is to catch up on maintenance and then see what it’s got at a novice friendly track day.
